PETER BERNARD

Peter Bernard is a specialist Career and Executive Development coach. Over the past 20 years, Peter has helped hundreds of Executives looking for a new senior role or a career re-orientation to achieve their goals. He has done this by helping clients to successfully define their ideal job, generate an effective job search/networking strategy, as well as providing CV writing and Interview Training services.

Since 2000, Peter has also provided Executive Development Coaching to Executives looking to enhance their personal effectiveness/impact, communication skills, development of leadership competencies, delegation and people management skills. Coaching is Peter’s third career. His first was in marketing and sales management within the technology (semiconductor and electronics) industries. His second was spent in the professional services sector, first as MD of a major head-hunter’s European telecommunications business, including personally delivering multiple Board-level Executive Search Assignments, and subsequently as MD of an Assessment and Development services business offering consultancy and the design/delivery of assessment and development solutions to blue chip clients including Microsoft and Barclays Bank.

Peter holds an MBA from Cranfield Business School, holds professional qualifications in Marketing (DipM) and Human Resource Management (Grad CIPD) and is a graduate in Electronics from Warwick University (BSc(Hons)). Peter is also a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), is a Certified NLP Coach and is qualified by the British Psychological Society in psychometric testing to levels A and B.

Peter is married with teenage twin children, and he is passionate about health and fitness including road cycling, competitive table tennis and rugby union - having played First Team rugby union in the early 1990’s with Wasps RFC.
