Katie began as a Life Coach in December 1999, initially working with private clients over the telephone. From these humble beginnings, Rowland & Associates has become a Limited company, with a strong team of experienced associates and an extensive network of resourceful contacts. We work with Global Corporations, FTSE 20, 40, 100, 250 Companies and SMEs. We continue to offer private coaching to anyone who wishes to invest in their development and have recently added Havening Techniques to our range of services.
Prior to setting up Rowland & Associates, Katie began her professional career as a secondary school teacher (which she loved) then moved to the exciting position of Commercial Manager for Wasps RFC as the sport turned professional. She moved on from Wasps to the International Tennis Federation, working with corporate sponsors on the Davis and Fed Cup events around the world. Many of her first private clients came from the professional and personal networks she developed whilst in these roles.
Katie’s impact, approach and the results her coaching achieved led some clients, with positions of seniority in their professional lives, to recommend her within their organisations. This resulted in a rapid expansion into executive coaching. Katie has worked extensively as an Executive Coach to individuals and senior teams since 2001, in addition to continuing with her private client practice. Some of her first clients, both private and corporate, still work with Rowland & Associates!
Katie feels that being a coach is directly aligned to ‘Who She Is’ as a person. It also amalgamates what she loved about teaching and her work in sport sponsorship, with having a wider reaching impact and helping a wider range of people.

Being part of a team also enables the coaches to learn from each other, draw on different experiences and co-facilitate together when the opportunity arises.
The toolkit Katie uses has grown substantially since 1999, as she is committed to life-long learning. However, what hasn't changed is her passion for helping all clients that work with Rowland & Associates to grow, develop and ultimately feel more fulfilled!
